How does Event in a Box by Shape Events work?


Select one of six settings, all containing an oversized luxury fabric table runner, fabric serivettes, crockery, cutlery, glassware, taper candles, and candlesticks. Complete your online order and make payment. Your Event in a Box is then delivered to your doorstep the day before your event. After the party, repack your linens along with your rinsed dishware and glassware in the box the settings arrived in and leave at your front door for Shape Events to collect from 10am the next day. Simple!




I'm having a dinner party with multiple tables, how many runners and candles will I get?


If you are using more than one dining table, please make a note of this when placing your order. Our luxury oversize fabric table runners fit up to a 3m long table. All orders typically come with one runner and two taper candles and candle stick holders.




Can I mix and match items from different settings?


Unfortunately, each setting is not customisable. However you can make 2 or more orders and choose different styles.




I don't have enough furniture, can I hire tables and chairs from you too?


Yes! We have tables and chairs available for hire. There is a section on the online order form for you to complete to let us know what you need. You can also let us know other details in the 'details' section.




How far in advance do I have to place my order?


For same day orders within the immediate Mildura area, please complete your online form before noon and call Shape Events to alert them to your order 0404 998 410. All other orders must be placed online by midday the day before your event.




When will I receive my order?


Unless you request same-day on demand delivery before noon within Mildura, your order will arrive the day before your event. You can also arrange to collect the box yourself, please note this in your online order.




When and how do I return my order?


Please have all items to be returned packed in the box the settings arrived in and leave at your door for Shape Events to collect from 10am the following day. No need to wash everything, please at least rinse it off. If you have arranged to return your box please follow the personal agreement made upon booking your event.




Can I modify my confirmed order?


Yes, some modifications can be made, subject to time and availability. Please call Shape Events for last-minute changes, and we will do our best to accommodate, though there are no guarantees once the items have been packed and are ready - 0404 998 410.




Can I cancel my order?


Cancellation on the day of your event will incur full fee payment. Cancellation the day before your event (the delivery day of your Event in a Box) will incur full fee payment. Cancellation 2 days before your event will incur 25% fee of your total order amount.




What if I need help choosing a setting for my event?


We're only too happy to help you! Please call Shape Events 0404 998 410 or email hello@shapeevents.com.au for help deciding upon the best setting for your party and needs. Or, make an appointment to stop by our warehouse to discuss your needs. Do you have specific needs? Chat to us too, we love to do custom orders.




What if my order arrives with broken items?


We personally select and pack your order and hand deliver to your door with the utmost care. In the very unlikely case that there are any broken items upon unpacking your box please call Shape Events immediately and we'll organise delivery of replacements.




What if items accidentally break or are damaged while in my possession?


We understand that sometimes parties are so fun that things get broken or damaged. Please just let us know by leaving a note in your returned Box or give us a call or email. Item replacement or repair will be charged at RRP. Sarah - 0404 998 410 hello@shapeevents.com.au




What happens if I return my Event in a Box late?


If your Event in a Box is not repacked and ready at your front door for collection by Shape Events by 10am the day after your event a late fee of $25 will be charged. If we arrive to collect your Event in a Box and it is not ready and you are not home, a fee of $50.00 will be charged to the payment card used to hire the settings for every day you are late. We value our time and our service, we hope you will too.




What if I break the shipping box or want to keep it?


The Shape Events packing box must be returned. If it is not returned, or has damage, you will be charged the replacement fee.




Do you offer same-day delivery?


Yes, within the greater Mildura area we accept same day orders. The order must be received online by midday with a call to us to discuss finer details - 0404 998 410.




What is the Greater Mildura area?


Mildura, South Mildura, Irymple, Red Cliffs, Merbein, Birdwoodton, Buronga, Gol Gol, Trentham Cliffs, Dareton, Wentworth.




What if my event is outside of the Greater Mildura area?


Please be sure to correctly include your event address in your online booking. We will calculate a delivery charge for delivery and collection. Alternatively we can organise for you to collect and return your Event in a Box from our warehouse.




What if my hire period ends on a Sunday or Holiday?


Please have it ready for collection the next business day.




How do I pay for same-day Event in a Box service?


We will call you to confirm your order and take payment over the phone using Pin Payments.




What kinds of payment do you accept?


We use Pin Payments and accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. You can also pay by Direct Deposit. Please email us the payment confirmation, especially if it's same day service, so we can get to and get your Event in a Box ready immediately.




What are the Shape Events warehouse hours?


We’re open by appointment only, please call Shape Events on 0404 998 410. We're more than happy to meet you there and show you our items and discuss your needs. We love this stuff!




What can I see at the warehouse?


Everything! It's just that, our warehouse, where we store all our items. We don't have a fancy showroom with displays set up. However, we're more than happy to meet you there, discuss your needs and show you what we have. Please make an appointment - 0404 998 410
